MORE ABOUT ME
Syahrain embarked on her academic journey with a focus on Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. Subsequently, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Universiti Sains Malaysia. During her practicum at a university hospital, she developed her skills in planning and coordinating psychotherapy and psychological assessment for individuals of various age groups.

In her role at a public university, Syahrain actively engaged with university students and staffs, collaborating with governmental agencies to provide psychoeducation, conduct psychological assessments and serve as a subject matter expert. Also, she played a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of clinical psychology at her previous workplace.

Her professional experiences predominantly centred around cases related to depression, anxiety and ADHD in adults. Syahrain also developed a keen interest in neuropsychological disorders and assessments throughout her journey. She aspires to encourage people to pursue careers as clinical psychologists and aiming to destigmatise mental health issues within the community.
