MORE ABOUT ME
Bryan is a Clinical Psychologist who completed his training in Malaysia. Presently, he is involved with clinical work – providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological assessments, though he splits his time to also lecture in Psychology to undergraduate students. In the therapeutic approach, he mainly practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while he also assimilates elements from other evidence-based techniques to fully embrace the human experience. As in the therapeutic space however, what becomes centre to his style is warmth, compassion, openness and honesty. So at times, there may be laughter and other times asking the difficult questions and sitting with the difficult feelings. In this sense, he walks with his client – during the good and through the bad.

Therapy goes both ways – during his time as therapist, he has had the opportunity to learn from a diverse range of clientele – adolescent to geriatric e.g. those presenting with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger management, relationship issues, adjustment issues, stress, and LGBT persons to name some.

Outside therapy, you can find him sauntering around local parks or at the swing, enjoying dreampop music and reading poetry.

“I urge you to retell your story, that you may now also speak of the white swan in the photograph.”
