MORE ABOUT ME Ker Leet recently graduated with a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He is also registered with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology. During his training in Australia, he has worked with children, adolescents and adults across various settings including primary schools, private practices, and community mental health programs, conducting both therapy and assessments.
In working with his clients, Ker Leet aims to create a warm, safe, and collaborative environment. He strongly believes that therapy is a partnership between the clinician and the client that is built upon trust and openness.
Ker Leet has a particular interest in working with young people but is also available to work with adults on a range of issues. He primarily uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach in his delivery of therapy but also incorporates elements from other approaches such as mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Prior to pursuing his postgraduate study, Ker Leet worked as a behavioural therapist for two years supporting young children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. For him, witnessing and celebrating the progress made by the children he has worked with has been the most rewarding part of that job. He is very keen to continue contributing his knowledge and making an impact in people’s lives.
